It's cold here...like really deep, bone chilling, deep freeze, water freezes in about a nanosecond cold.
I left my house at 5:45AM to get my training run in--thank you, God, for an indoor track less than a mile from my house (which I drove to, thankyewverymuch)! The temperature gauge in my car showed -9F. At 7AM it'd warmed up to a balmy -4F. YUK.
It's so cold, I'd rather just stay at home all the time--no training outside, no going out for dinner, no coming to work--just a nice warm house, my fuzzy warm houseshoes, and my coffee machine. Oh well...
One bright spot, though--tonight is the premiere night for the movie Spirit of the Marathon. My blog pal Tim Wilson mentioned this movie in one of his posts, and I got a bunch of friends interested in going. One of my friends joked that we should take a taxi to the theater (4 miles away), because we'd be so inspired we'd want to run back! Uh, with an air temperature of probably 2F...not so much.

I really need to get that Y membership I've been wavering on. Their track isn't the best, but it's indoors too. AND they have that awesome pool.
Sue just look at it as an investment in yourself! With an indoor track and a pool, it sounds like an awesome deal...
